Charlotte's Web

I decided to read this, and now it's done. You all might have seen the movie, but the book has so many more details, for example: This lullaby that Charlotte sang, it goes like this:

"Sleep, sleep, my love, my only,
Deep, deep, in the dung and the dark
Be not afraid and be not lonely!
This is the hour when frogs and thrushes
Praise the world from the woods and the rushes.
Rest from care, my one and only,
Deep in the dung and the dark!"

I didn't get it at first, but then I remembered this was a spider, a ½" spider trying to save a 200 pound pig. Then came the rat. Templeton was to me not smart. How's he supposed to get from the barn, to the slop without having to break a leg, talk about fat! Well, my favorite image was this one:

A very good part is when Charlotte spins her first two words:

It was a very good book, and I also liked the part when the baby spiders hatched. That's all folks!
